Welcome to Blue House Effect Development Organization of Canada

(Known as Blue House Effect or BHE)

As advocates for the personal, spiritual, academic and social growth of all, we support the children in The Dominica Center for Integrated Growth and Development, in La Ureña, Dominican Republic. Through our various programs, they are empowered to make healthy life choices.

Our Mission:

Through the fostering of personal, social and spiritual growth, those who are abandoned, abused or at-risk throughout the world are empowered to make healthy life-effecting choices.

Through their ability to make positive life-effecting choices the children and community build a much higher self-esteem empowering them to foster positive changes in their community by building a foundation of life and hope.  It is this foundation that will allow the community to become self-sufficient.

The Blue House Effect supports programs to empower these life-effecting choices.

• Children's programs to include social interaction, spiritual growth, child sponsorships, sports, and summer camps.
• Women's programs to include life and job skills education, health education, social interaction and spiritual growth.
• Workshops and group interaction for those effected by HIV/AIDS to empower safe, healthy life decisions.
• Yearly home builds for at-risk families which will build self-esteem and build community by requiring family and/or community involvement.
