Allana Featherstone is the heart of Blue House Effect.  As a founding BHE Board member, Allana had the initial connection to the Dominican Republic and the vision of what could be created.  Participating in her first trip in 2001, Allana now plans and leads all Blue House Effect trips.  Allana is a tireless volunteer who donates her time and energy to keep BHE viable.  For her, it’s all about helping the children.  She is encouraged by the positive effect our work, donations and trips have on the lives of people of La Ureña.
